Tuition & Mentoring

“I can’t recommend Rebecca highly enough. From 10th to 12th grade (Year 11 to Year 13), she guided my daughters through the IB program with expert tutoring in English, Extended Essay, and overall academic support. She also provided invaluable university counseling, helping them identify universities that were the best academic and social fit, and guiding us seamlessly through the UK application process. She struck the perfect balance of challenge and encouragement, always attentive, supportive, and deeply invested in their success. We would not have navigated the IB or university process without her. The girls achieved very high IB scores (40+) and are attending their first choice university. Thank you Rebecca!”

“Rebecca tutored both my daughters through GCSE and A Levels Biology, Geography and Business. She was always very well prepared, organised and committed in passing on her knowledge and had the ability to do so by making the most difficult of topics quite simple to understand. Rebecca also taught them exam techniques and how to answer exam questions which can always be tricky under timed conditions. She was always very engaging and encouraging and made sure the girls received the best guidance during the syllabus changes. On a personal level Rebecca is a delightful positive person and I would recommend her to anybody without hesitation. Both my girls benefited tremendously from her.”

“I highly recommend Rebecca as a tutor and consultant. Her expertise, patience, and dedication transformed my learning experience. Rebecca’s ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable way, combined with her genuine passion for helping others succeed was invaluable to help me through my A-Levels. She has an incredible knack for identifying individual needs and tailoring her approach accordingly. Rebecca’s support was invaluable for me personally to get where I needed to go for university.”

“Rebecca is a first-class tutor, and my daughter benefited tremendously from her support. She is exceptionally kind and encouraging. Her natural enthusiasm for her subjects inspired my daughter to maximise her potential and achieve excellent results. Rebecca's wonderful command of the written word helped develop skills well beyond core content, strengthening both analysis and expression. Her attention to detail and deep understanding of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme ensured my daughter received the very highest standard of guidance and support.”

“Rebecca tutored our two children for A-Level and GCSE, and also supported our eldest in developing their UCAS personal statement. She is an extremely bright, dynamic, and engaging teacher with a real ability to break down complex topics and convey information in a memorable way. She is highly organised and methodical in her approach, and both children found her sessions invaluable for revision. Her topic sheets were particularly helpful. Rebecca is also a delightful person with a positive attitude who relates well to all ages. Both our children described her as the best teacher they had ever had. We would be delighted to recommend her and hope to continue working with her.”

“Rebecca exceeded our expectations. She supported *** in Geography, helping them build confidence and apply their knowledge effectively in examinations. She approached lessons with a calm, encouraging and positive manner, teaching new skills across both Physical and Human Geography. She used a range of strategies when topics were challenging and provided structured follow-up work after sessions. This guidance helped *** develop independence in their revision and approach their exams with confidence.”

PRIVATE TUITION

Homeschooling & Curriculum Design

“Having been a teacher for twenty years, I have met a lot of educationalists. I can categorically say that Rebecca is one of the best teachers that I have worked with. She is the most organised and conscientious individual you will come across.

She designed a full two-year curriculum for my son, who is homeschooled while pursuing a professional badminton career. Rebecca ensures that all the areas of the syllabus are covered, whilst allowing him to explore every aspect of any topic they are covering; nothing is too difficult, too much trouble or too far beyond the syllabi; plus, every single lesson is immaculately planned. Rebecca not only teaches multiple subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography) but also coordinates a team of tutors, ensuring every lesson in my son’s homeschooling program is stimulating and of the highest standard.

Two years ago, my son would have much preferred not to be thinking about academics; in just 18 months, she has inspired him so much that he now plans to pursue medicine after his badminton career. Under her teaching he took his Chemistry and Biology a year young and achieved two A* grades (whilst training for badminton six hours a day and studying for other subjects).

I have no reservations in recommending Rebecca for any teaching/education role with students of any age.”

HOMESCHOOLING

Learning & Assessment Support

“Diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, our child struggled with writing and confidence despite being an avid reader. Rebecca quickly recognised their learning needs and tailored her approach to suit them. She made writing engaging, helping them gain confidence and independence.

*** had no earlier exam experience and had never been interviewed. Rebecca’s visits became the highlight of their week, although they involved additional work and homework. She gradually unlocked their literacy skills and made writing interesting and accessible. *** learned how to cope with exams with increasing confidence, and with Rebecca’s clear guidance they were unfazed on exam and interview days. They were confident because they felt prepared. They are now an engaging young person who is happy to take part in new challenges and is even considering auditioning for a lead role in their school production.

We were delighted when they received an offer from their first-choice school, and we understand from discussions with the admissions office that they were placed in the top third of applicants. As parents, we also appreciated Rebecca’s support and feedback throughout the process, right up to and after the assessments. Her knowledge, experience, and ongoing support have been invaluable. We couldn't have asked for a better guide for our child’s learning journey.

We were introduced to Rebecca by a family who had both their children tutored by her and both were successful in gaining offers (and one a scholarship) to their chosen schools. I would not hesitate to recommend Rebecca, who we believe has many talents but a very special gift for teaching.”

Learning Support

University Admissions Advisory

“Our daughter was lucky to have Rebecca as a university counselor to help her prepare her application especially since we were not familiar with the UCAS system and are not from the UK. Rebecca has shown great response adapting fast to the change of direction in choosing the required field of study and was always a call away. She replied quickly to messages and answered questions with accurate and clear information. She is well informed about all aspects of the process, the added value of courses and institutions. After several weeks of intensive talks, reviews of personal statements and great advice, the outcome of my daughter’s application was 5 offers from the 5 universities she applied to! Amazing and friendly, Rebecca was a great support through a stressful phase. We recommend Rebecca’s counseling to any student planning to study any subject in a university in the UK.”

“Rebecca supported our daughter while she studied for her UCAT. She is incredibly knowledgeable and a great teacher but moreover she is insightful, honest and caring. Our daughter got offers at every university she applied for. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“Rebecca is a dedicated Education Consultant and University Placement Advisor that truly went above and beyond for me as a client. As a mature international student returning to school to continue my education at the postgraduate level, she provided me with the support and information I needed to make a competitive application to highly reputable universities in the U.K. I am sincerely thankful for the way she refined my CV, tailored my personal statements for a specific university, and provided a strategic approach to communicating with different universities to make my candidacy stand out. Rebecca was extremely professional, and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process with the feeling of she was on my team. The result of all her service was positive as I've received an acceptance letter from a highly ranked program. I would not hesitate to recommend her service to anyone in need of an Education Consultant and University Placement Advisor for university applications.”

“Rebecca is a dedicated Education Consultant and University Placement Advisor. Her expert knowledge of higher education in the UK and her ability to distill down vast amounts of information to provide comprehensive support, ensures that international candidates make very competitive applications. In our case, the result of her advisory services was extremely positive with acceptances from a number of highly competitive programmes. I would highly recommend her services, especially to parents of international students who are looking to negotiate the process of applying to universities in the UK.”

“Rebecca supported my daughter in her successful application to Cambridge to study Natural Sciences. As she was educated in an international school system, Rebecca’s guidance was essential in helping us understand both the admissions process and what universities are looking for in candidates. Her input strengthened her confidence throughout UCAS, personal statement development, admissions tests, and interviews.”

Parent of an international, undergraduate applicant, Austria

“Rebecca supported my daughter *** in her applications to UK universities. In short, Rebecca’s consultancy and support was invaluable. From the very beginning, Rebecca had tremendous patience and when *** was unsure of which courses to apply for, she never forced options upon her (as notably the school tended to do), but instead offered extensive and detailed advice that covered not only university selection, but also more specifically, course selection. Rebecca always went above and beyond to ensure that *** felt comfortable with her choices and was completely informed. By the end of the process we knew we had exhausted every option and that *** really was in the best possible place. Indeed I know that without Rebecca’s guidance, *** wouldn’t have even considered the course that she is now taking. In hindsight it would have been an incredible shame for her not to find it, since she is enjoying it so much.

Rebecca’s understanding of the UCAS process is second to none and her help with the personal statement section of the form in particular ensured that ***’s application was as strong as it could have been. Rebecca coached *** for two interviews and again, undoubtedly her input helped *** excel in an environment where she would have previously felt extremely vulnerable. Rebecca’s kind and supportive nature provided *** with the confidence she needed and we were so very grateful for the numerous occasions she scheduled last minute ‘emergency’ meetings when *** had a crisis of confidence.

Rebecca is also a fantastic personal tutor and even after *** had gained her university place, she continued to work with her and tutor Biology. This additional tuition helped *** gain the high grade she needed to be finally accepted on her course.”
